Sony Xperia P Smartphone - Featuring a high resolution display inspired from the Xperia S the Xperia P phone comes as a feature rich offering with a lower price tag of Rs 25,500.
Online retailer, Infibeam has started
taking prebooking orders for the Sony Xperia P smartphone which is expected to make
its debut in India on May 26. Along with the smartphone, which is
priced at Rs 25,500, Infibeam is also offering a free Plantronics Bluetooth headset.

The Xperia P smartphone is the smaller cousin of the Sony Xperia S that was
launched in the Indian market in the month of April. The Sony Xperia P smartphone
is based on Google's Android operating system and has a 4-inch
scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 960x540 pixels.
The phone comes powered by a 1 GHz
dual-core processor. The device comes preinstalled with Android 2.3 but
Sony has plans to upgrade the device to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
later.
The Sony Xperia P has an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash and a VGA
camera in the front to aid video calling and conferencing. The Xperia P
smartphone comes with an internal storage of 16 GB out of which 13 GB worth of
storage will be available for the user to store his data.
